The DLC storyline (which is started by selecting the Trouble in Paradise mission in your Journal, then teleporting to Boomerdale) is approx 1-2hrs long if you take your time and scan everything in sight, whilst unlocking all the upgrades, on the way to the showdown against Kronus. Step 1: Finish the story, fly through 12 gas rings without touching the floor, unlock all the upgrades and complete as much as the Kindrex as possible Having a maxed out inventory of Binding Bile, Grapple Seeds, Bombegranates, Blight Bombs and Shock Fruit will also be beneficial. You can't start this DLC until after arriving in the Elevated Realm and have the "Investigate the Tower" mission active but I strongly recommend obtaining the The $600 Man trophy and at least 60 Orange Goo's so you have all the upgrades and max Health/Stamina before starting the DLC. Step 0: Progress the core game until you reach the Elevated Realm and have unlocked all the upgrades as well as having max Health/Stamina
#Journey to the savage planet flora list Patch
You need the 1.07 or higher patch installed to play this DLC. This means you will have to make your way back to where you were at the time of your last save. The save system in this game is purely auto-save based and the only way to force a save is to either teleport somewhere or return to the Javelin.įor some unknown reason, the developers have made it so you will always start in the Javelin after reloading your save. There is no ability to pause the game, thus it's ill advised to leave the game running for long periods with any menus up because there's a very good chance you will come under attack and not know until it's too late.Īll the controls referenced in this Guide are based on the default settings so adjust them accordingly. I don't know if this is a bug or just a really lousy design choice but saving and reloading your game whilst you have undeposited resources, will cause the game to say you have died and have to collect your loot box. Providing you don't play in Old Game Minus mode, nothing is missable.Īll the screenshots used in the Guide, were created by Terminator. The only real fly in the ointment, is the Walking On Air trophy because the flight controls aren't great and the low FoV (Field of View) makes it hard to see where you're going but it's nothing that practice won't cure. Trophy wise, this DLC is very much more of the same as the main game so expect to do a lot of scanning and looking around for collectibles. Welcome to DL-C1 and the location of Kindred's soon-to-be retirement resort for people aged 225 years but there is a slight problem, Vyper Industries (AKA the second best Exploration company in the Galaxy) has decided to turn this paradise world into a toxic waste dump so now you have to gather sufficient evidence for a lawsuit against them.
